I have the pleasure of calling Rickie Meryl Freedman one of my primary mentors in my spiritual and healing journey. When Rickie told me she was writing a book about her own journey and was looking for co-authors to share in this book, I jumped at the chance. My chapter -- Diving into Reiki -- tells a story of sharing Reiki with a friend and fellow practitioner in my pool. What a powerful exchange for both of us that day. This book not only embraces the impact of a loving community, something I find incredibly important, but it shares the different perspectives and experiences of many personalities on the same path of healing and self-discovery.
